Atlantis Studio 2024 End of Year Reflections

At the end of each calendar year I'm in the studio preparing for the year to come.  So, in many ways, the end of the year comes late fall early winter and the focus turns toward what energy and vision is ready to express.

Planning for what to come is both exciting and necessary but reflecting on the years wins and challenges important as well.  What I like about being an artist is that challenges and what on the surface seems to be mistakes many times lead to a advancement in understanding or technique.

The beginning three months of 2024 were slower than years past but summer came around and the energy shifted and therefore sales allowed me to take time off, get back in the studio to build a dynamic body of work that turned the fall season into a further positive experience.

The deep dive into the seven sea turtles of the world expanded with artistic technique as well as various visits to sea turtle beaches and rescue centers.

Metallic color continued to emerge and enlightened pre_Columbian motifs to add exciting colorful elements to traditional themes.  The contrast and combination of the old and next have been the foundation of my Atlantis Studi in both technique and design and exciting new colors expand that union.

Here busy preparing for 2025 while looking back with gratitude and satisfaction for all the connections 2024 gifted me and the team.

Thank you all for being part of the circle.  I hope my work makes an impact and enriches your life in a way that supports your visions and dreams!
