Arriving in San Jun de Oriente, Nicaragua in 1995 as a Peace Corps Volunteer Paul Henry Devoti started the journey that is now Atlantis Studio.

Routed in 2000 years of Cultural History.

Arriving in San Juan de Oriente, Nicaragua September 1995 Paul Henry Devoti encountered a village connected to a mostly unwritten cultural past. Building an understanding of that lost Nicoyan heritage through the pottery tradition of the village is the foundation of Paul's work today with his Atlantis Ceramic Art Studio

Paul's approach.

Create one of a kind, museum quality clay sculptures born out of the native tradition of the village but enhanced with vibrant color, modern creative energy while maintaining and representing cultural themes and images.
